These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Because Psychology website and the booking of psychology counseling sessions offered through our platform. By accessing this website or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. About Our Services

Because Psychology provides psychology-related educational content, media, and paid online counseling sessions with qualified professionals. Session fees, duration, and types are listed on our Pricing page.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to book a paid session, or have consent from a parent/guardian where applicable.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• Information you provide must be accurate and up to date.

3. Bookings & Payments

• Session bookings are confirmed only after successful payment through our payment partner, Razorpay.
• Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We do not store your full card or UPI credentials; payment data is processed securely by Razorpay in accordance with applicable standards.
• A booking reserves a specific date and time slot; you are responsible for attending at the scheduled time.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please review it before completing payment.

5. Service Delivery

Counseling sessions are delivered as scheduled online appointments (or as otherwise agreed). There is no physical shipping of goods. Session access details or meeting links will be communicated via email or your account dashboard after booking confirmation.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes
• Post offensive, misleading, or infringing content in comments or communications
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the website or payment systems

7. Professional Disclaimer

Our articles and media are for general educational purposes. Counseling sessions are professional support services but are not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

8. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, and materials are owned by Because Psychology or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Because Psychology is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a paid session shall not exceed the amount paid for that session.
